ABOUT THE ACADEMY FOR LEISURE AND TOURISM (ALT)

ALT is the education arm of Newport World Resorts, one of the largest integrated resorts in the Philippines. ALT aims to elevate the knowledge, skills and values of Filipino hospitality professionals and enhance their opportunities for career growth.

ALT students get to utilize an inclusive campus infrastructure, which includes 3,580 hotel rooms, 30,000 sqm. of gaming area, 18,000 sqm. of retail space, 5,300 sqm. of ballroom space, 4,000 sqm. of exhibition/event area, 1,758-seat theater, and 570-bed dormitory. These facilities provide a realistic learning environment for the students, where they can apply their skills and knowledge in real-world scenarios.

ALT is located within the sprawling Newport World Resorts complex featuring hotels, casinos, shopping malls, entertainment venues, and dining outlets. Newport World Resorts is situated within Metro Manila’s Travel City, Pasay City, a prime location for leisure and tourism.
