Holiday Inn Express Manila Newport City is committed to achieving best practice environmental and social sustainability and has partnered with EarthCheck, the world’s leading Benchmarking and Certification provider.

It has a hotel metric on carbon reduction which is displayed and measured through the system.
At Holiday Inn Express Manila Newport City, we care for the environment and the communities where we work and do the right things in the right way. We make a positive impact on the world around us while building our business. We recognize and want to have better communities, a better environment and better lives. As such we are also working on implementing an Environmental Management System that meets the requirements such as the EarthCheck Company Standard. Our hotel is committed to continual improvement measured by way of annual Benchmarking Assessments, continuously striving on implementing sustainable initiatives aimed at improving the hotel’s performance, from using less energy and conserving water to reducing waste.
Holiday Inn Express Manila Newport City will comply with all relevant legislation and regulations, and aims to achieve international best practice. We have appointed our Assistant Director for Hotel Operations as the EarthCheck Coordinator, who has responsibility for improving the Hotel’s sustainable performance.
It is also our priority to employ and empower local employees, and wherever possible sustainable products and services will be sourced locally in accordance with Fair Trade principles.
