Newport Mall Pet Policy  

At Newport Mall, we aim to create a welcoming environment for pets and their owners while ensuring the safety and comfort of all guests. Please adhere to the following pet policy:     

  1. Supervision and Control:       
    ○  Pets must always be accompanied by a responsible adult and should not be left unattended at any time.       
    ○  Owners must ensure that their pets are supervised and under control at all times.       
     
  2. Leash, Diaper, and Carrier Requirements:       
    ○  Diaper and Leash/Carrier: Pets must wear a diaper, and be on a leash or in a carrier at all times. Retractable leashes should be kept short (no longer than 1.5 meters) to avoid tangling.       
    ○  Service Animals: Service animals must likewise wear a diaper, and be on a leash or in a carrier unless these devices hinder the animal’s service. In these situations, the pet owner must use other effective means to maintain control of the service animal.       
     
  3. Behavioral Expectations:       
    ○ Pets exhibiting aggressive, disruptive, or destructive behavior are prohibited from entering and/or staying inside the premises. The management of Newport Mall reserves the right to request such pets and pet owners to leave the premises.       
     
  4. Escalators and Elevators:       
    ○ Pets must be carried or placed in a carrier when using escalators or elevators.       
     
  5. Store and Restaurant Policies:       
    ○ Pet owners acknowledge that pet policies may vary by store or restaurant. They undertake to comply with the specific rules imposed by individual stores.       
     
  6. Waste Disposal:       
    ○ Pet owners are required to clean up after their pets and dispose of waste in designated waste disposal stations.       
     

  7. Liability:       
    ○ Pet owners acknowledge that Newport Mall exercises due diligence in ensuring the safety and well-being of everyone in its facilities; Thus, pet owners assume any and all risks that may arise in connection with the bringing of their inside the premises of Newport Mall including, but not limited to, damage to property or injury to persons. Consequently, pet owners shall hold Newport Mall free and harmless from any action, claim, or demand that may arise in connection with such risks which may occur within the premises of Newport Mall.
