Eraserheads
Eraserheads is one of the most successful alternative rock Filipino bands, sometimes called "The Beatles of the Philippines." Eraserheads was formed in 1989 with Ely Buendia (lead vocal), Buddy Zabala (bass guitar), Marcus Adoro (lead guitar), Raimund Marasigan (drums and percussion) as members.
Some of their hits include "Ang Huling El Bimbo," "With a Smile," and "Spoliarium." Eheads released a total of seven studio albums that contain songs that are popular to this day.
The band broke up in 2002, and in 2008, they reunited for a series of reunion concerts. Since their reunion, they occasionally perform in the country and abroad.
Apo Hiking Society

A play named after their 1997 album, Buruguduystunstugudunstuy, is being staged at the Newport Performing Arts Theater starting April 26, 2024.
Rivermaya
